We are President's Distinguished for the 5th Year! PDF Print E-mail
Written by JD Austin

toastmasterlogo.gifEach year our club tries to meet the needs of our members by following the Toastmasters Distinguished Club Program. The focus of this program is to encourage our members to work through their educational awards, for our club officers to attend training and participate in the successful club plan, and to ensure that we meet all deadlines set forth by Toastmasters International.

Each year only 10% of Toastmaster Clubs achieve the President's Distinguished status.

In our six year history as a club Rio Copa has achieved President's Distinguished Status for the last five years!

We almost didn't make it this year.  With the economy, people changing jobs, and other factors we lost six members during the April dues renewal.  We achieved all 10 club goals well before June 1st but we didn't add our 20th member until a week before the deadline!  This year we will be much more diligent about recruiting new members!
