11:40 Call to Order – John Desmond, President Present: Mike Trier, John Desmond, Steve Martindale, JD Austin, Jay Ortiz, Jamillla Randolph, Joshua Darland Word of the Day – Fiat Mike presented Table Topics on Parenting with Bill Cosby Quotes Laura Buzin gave her 7th Speech from the Communications and Leadership Manual on “The Life of Pesto” John reminded us that we need to attend the presentation at the Governing Board Room on June 28th. May marks the two-year anniversary of the RioCopa Toastmasters Club. Each year, through its Distinguished Club Program (DCP), Toastmasters International recognizes clubs which have attained certain goals in the areas of membership growth and individual member achievement as speakers and leaders. We are pleased to announce that RioCopa has met the goals necessary to achieve, for the first time in Club history, the highest level in the DCP, the President's Distinguished Club, an accomplishment only about 10% of the clubs in Arizona have achieved.
