THEME: “Rediscovering America”

 Attendees:  Steven Martindale, Pat Honzay, Vashi Worley, Azra Mahmood, Jay Ortiz, JD Austin

Highlights:

One of the most amazing things about Rio Copa Toastmasters is our ability to adapt and improvise.  Our only scheduled formal speaker could not attend, and so there was now time to fill.  Our Table Topics master, Azra, came prepared with a few extra questions, and Pat Honzay volunteered to give a speech even though it wasn't yet complete.  With a few last minute shuffling of the functionaries, the meeting was off to a great start.

Pat gave a roller-coaster ride of a speech as she took us back to one windy and blustering day, as she desperately tried to save the canopy top for her boat.  Moral of the story, "Don't rock Pat's boat!"

CONGRATULATIONS to Pat Honzay for acheiving 1/2 CTM!!!
