JD Austin wins Outstanding Area R4 Toastmaster of the Year Award |

 JD Austin
received the Outstanding Area R4 Toastmaster of the Year 2005-2006
Award at the Area Contest on September 26, 2006. The award is given to one member in each
area each year. There is also an award given at the division and
district level.
All District 3 Toastmasters in good
standing (except District officers) may submit
an application. Points are earned for educational and service
accomplishments as well as involvement at the Club level
and selection
is based solely on the application. The highest point holder is
awarded the honor of being announced as the District
Outstanding Toastmaster of the Year at July Jubilee. The official
certificate from Toastmasters International and presentation of the
traveling trophy are presented at the Fall Conference.
Outstanding Toastmaster of the Year trophies are also selected for each
Division and Area. These awards are presented at Fall Speech Contests
for each Area and Division.
