Contest comment: Andrew and Elliott decided to prepare point/counterpoint speeches, which was an interesting way to approach the contest.
There was an exta 15 minutes at the end of the meeting to do table topics. Steven Martindale volunteered to be the Table Topics master, and JD and Vickie stepped up to be Ah Counter and Grammarian. Marina, Lee Ann, and Pat Honzay all answered Table Topics questions posed. A brief report by functionaries was provided at meeting's end. The word of the day, quickly chosen, was tenacious adj.: holding together; cohesive; not easily pulled asunder; tough. Great job, everyone.
Club Business: Today Patrick Fitzgerald completed his Competent Leader Manual. Congratulations, Patrick!
